· Admin support – recruitment, during the course and closure

· Accommodation for tutors if travelling to the venue on a daily basis were not possible

· Skills work facilitators

Current Programmes

A   1-day  Introduction to Pastoral Supervision

This course would equip participants to receive supervision and would teach them the process of reflective pastoral supervision, how to prepare for it and how to make best use of it. The day would include input, goldfish bowl observation of a supervision session and opportunity to practise.

In addition to the provision noted above, IPCS would ask the diocese to have a plan as to how participants would be supervised following the course and to provide supervisors.

The cost of this day would be £775 for a group of 15 participants, assuming the diocesan contribution as above.

B   3+1 day Skills in Pastoral Supervision

This course would equip participants to offer pastoral supervision. The first 3 days would cover how to offer an appropriate supervisory space, how to manage the process of supervision, the skills needed to do so and the ethos of pastoral supervision. The fourth day would be an assessment day following a period of practice to ensure that the trainees were competent to practice in this way.

In addition to the provision noted above, IPCS would ask the diocese to have a plan as to how such supervisors were to be used in the diocesan context.

The cost of this course would be £3150 for a group of 15 participants.
